H-E-B has constructed several multi-level stores throughout Texas, which require directional and wayfinding signage in the garage and vestibules. To avoid confusion, these signage systems need to communicate consistently and effectively. Unique wall conditions also allow for messaging that support the H-E-B store and brand.

Directional systems should clearly communicate which direction a driver should travel. Simple designs tend to work best in this system, as they are a quicker read with less detail.

Wayfinding systems need to be clear in communication. Consistent color and type treatments are effective tactics in these systems.
